Moving from X-ray based conventional simulation to CT simulations is as easy as A, B, C with the GE Healthcare LightSpeed RT 16. When the patient is in the treatment position the CT table reference is defined, then the technician simply moves to the operating console and follows the easy procedure.

First, select patient anatomy, second, accept or modify the proposed acquistion protocol, third, set the landmark and press the scan button. All the clinical localizations have predefined radiotherapy acquisition protocols that expert users can even customize later on.
