Thanks to microVoxel™ technology – exclusively in the LightSpeed RT 16 – you routinely obtain 16-slice acquisitions with thin, 0.625-mm slices in all scanning modes. It improves 3D and reformatted 2D resolution through the optimum choice of sub-millimeter slice thickness and reconstructed voxel size.


Outstanding table stability

LightSpeed RT 16 offers a choice of 2 patient tables: VT 1700 and VT 2000. The standard VT 1700 can accommodate patients up to 220kg with a 1700 mm scannable range.
Exceptional stability and guaranteed accuracy of table movement enhance precision, while a lower minimum table height gives patients easier access.

WideView is an innovative feature that increases the maximum display field of view (DFOV) beyond the conventional scanner limit. The increase in the maximum DFOV from 50 cm to 65 cm is a significant (69 percent) increase in viewing area that allow clinicians to visualize more anatomical information and help locate the complete skin surface for optimal radiation therapy simulation and planning.
